Congrats to Sana on her publication in eLife!

Congratulations to Sana Naderi on her recent paper in eLife! Sana (Shapiro & Sagan Labs) has been working on our Coronavirus Variant Rapid Response Network (CoVaRR-Net) funded projects investigating SARS-CoV-2 sequences in animals. Her paper “Zooanthroponotic transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and host-specific viral mutations revealed by genome-wide phylogenetic analysis” highlights the importance of studying animal-associated SARS-CoV-2 mutations to assess their potential impact on human and animal health.
